Jess

LMT, CPT (NASM), CES, YES, Built Well for Birth Master Coach

Jess is the owner and founder of Optimal Therapeutics. She has specialized in sports and injury rehabilitation as well as prenatal fitness and massage over the last 17 years. Her work with Major League Soccer, Alliance of American Football, NFL and Combine athletes, along with their professional medical staff has helped her passion for providing optimal movement grow. This passion has also grown into working with the young athletes, allowing their bodies to properly recover from their strenuous training and allowing them to continue playing with less chance of injury.

With her extensive knowledge and trainings over the years, she decided to put together the apprentice program here to be able to help train and mentor the new generation of massage therapists. She has also created some educational community classes, as well as continuing education classes for licensed therapists.

Along with her professional titles, she's also a wife and mother to 3. Weekends are spent with her family, at sporting events, enjoying the outdoors, or traveling with her daughter for cheer competitions.

Jess loves doing sports massage, prenatal, myofascial, corrective and prenatal exercise. She also teaches couples massage and infant massage classes. She can be scheduled at both our Riverton and Tooele locations.

Amber

Licensed Massage Therapist
Amber is a passionate and professional massage therapist with a zest for life! She's lived in the Salt Lake Valley all of her life and absolutely loves it. She's a happily married wife and a mother to one amazing young man. Her family enjoys a variety of outdoor activities all year round. During the warmer weather they love to go camping, hiking, hunting and fishing. During the winter months they go sledding and often go ice fishing, sometimes even staying out on the ice overnight!

When she's not out having fun with her family, she loves getting to work with some pretty amazing people as a licensed massage therapist and couldn't imagine a more rewarding career.

She found her passion for massage at the age of just 13 years old when she discovered it was something she was naturally talented in. That passion quickly grew as she learned more and more about the many benefits of massage therapy and how it can really help people from all walks of life! She has been a licensed massage therapist for 12 years now, specializing in sports and injury massage, and prenatal massage at our Riverton clinic.

She loves working with a variety of people, from professional athletes to weekend warriors to the average Joe who needs some stress relief. She's so grateful to have found a career that both continuously feeds her passion and allows her to help others live their best lives. Just knowing that she can help someone achieve their goals and make a positive impact in someone's life is incredibly fulfilling for her.

Tiffany

Licensed Massage Therapist
Tiffany is a dedicated and driven therapist who loves to assist in the healing and recovery of her clients. She found her calling as a massage therapist after she experienced the benefits of massage while going through some major life changes. She wanted to be able to provide others with the same health and healing she received. While in school, she found out how passionate she was about Sports Massage, and she was fortunate enough to have many opportunities to volunteer with local athletes, including the Utah Warriors Rugby team and the Utah Falconz women’s football team. The highlight of her volunteer opportunities, though, was being able to work with some incredible first responders with the Firefighter Challenge League. She continues to work with all of these athletes, as well as working in our Tooele location.

In addition to specializing in Sports and Recovery Massage, she also focuses on Lymphatic Drainage, Thai Yoga, and Therapeutic massage. She is a certified Reiki practitioner, and her next goal is to become a Certified Personal Trainer, to increase her knowledge of the human body and how better she can help clients with their performance and recovery goals.

Before becoming an LMT, Tiffany was a stay-at-home mom to her four amazing children. When she isn’t working in the clinic, or traveling with the Firefighter Challenge, you will find her with her kids, planning their next fun vacation or just chilling at home together. You can schedule with Tiffany at both our Tooele and Riverton locations.

JP

Massage Apprentice
JP grew up in a small farming community in Erda, Utah where he learned to work hard and develop a love for the outdoors and family. His parents were very hard working and would have JP and his siblings use massage to help them recover and he and his sister took to massage quickly and always were looking for better techniques.

JP played football and wrestled in high school where he was introduced to the importance of recovery and healing. In his freshman year of high school he met his best friend who he dated all through high school. After high school he spent two years in Peru serving those amazing people as a missionary for the LDS Church and finding a deep connection to the importance of spirituality in their lives. JP later married his high school sweetheart and they have 5 kids who have kept their hearts and schedules full for the past 25 years. JP also has worked in the construction field and has owned and operated his own plumbing company called, “Hometown Plumbing”, serving the Tooele Valley for the past 20 years.

With his wife being a collegiate softball player and very athletic, their kids have always been heavily involved in sports from softball and baseball to soccer, volleyball, wrestling, track and cross country. He has always loved massage and loves helping others recover and feel better. Last year he learned the art of foot zoning and it has sparked a desire to be able to help others heal. JP is excited to learn and to help others with the talents he has been blessed with. He loves helping others smile. JP's family’s only criteria for him to pursue this path is that he doesn’t go “granola”, and he cannot put “HOMETOWN PLUMBING AND MASSAGE” on the side of his work van.

You can schedule an apprentice massage with JP, where he is specializing in sports massage, pain management or injury massage at our Riverton location.
